The 53-year-old filmmaker will have a busy schedule for the rest of the year with the forthcoming release of his movies "Dark Shadows" and "Frankenweenie", as well as "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter", which he produced, reported Contactmusic.
"I think I should take a break... It is kind of embarrassing that I have three movies out this year. I am sick of me already," he said.
Burton says he might direct a movie if he is impressed by the script for the upcoming sequel to his 1988 horror comedy "Beetlejuice".
"I would do it if it was interesting. Although I don't know if I would ever know a good script if it bit me in the face. But I know what I like, so we will see."
