Time bomb found in primary school

A time bomb was found from a primary school in the district today, police said.

The bomb attached with a wire was found in the premises of a primary school in Tapovan village sending the students and teachers in a tizzy, Atri police station in-charge Prasidh Singh said.

On being informed about it, Block Education Officer (BEO) Gayatri Kumari called the police who came and defused the explosive after making sure the students are in a safe distance, Singh said.

A probe was on to find out as to how the explosive material found its way in the school, Singh added.
