Tin, nickel and aluminium firmed up further in an otherwise sluggish non-ferrous metal market here today due to sustained stockists buying amid rising demand from the alloy industries.
While, copper and brass slipped owing to lower offtake from consumers industries.
Tin prices rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,450 from Last Saturday's level s 1,445 and nickel moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 802 as compared Rs 800 previously.

Aluminium ingots and aluminium utensils inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 142 and 118 respectively.
However, Copper scrap heavy and copper sheet cuttings edged down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 350 and Rs 340 as against Rs 352 and Rs 342 previously.
Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar, brass utensils scrap, brass sheet cuttings, zinc and lead softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 355, Rs 383, Rs 269, Rs 278, Rs 192 and Rs 137 respectively.
