Tin and nickel gain in lacklustre trade

Tin and nickel gained in an otherwise lacklustre non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists buying amid good demand from alloy industries.

Elsewhere, copper utensils and zinc also edged up following mild demand from industrial users.

Tin and nickel rose by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 1,460 and Rs 795 from Thursday's close Rs 1,455 and Rs 790, respectively.

Copper utensils scrap moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 318 as yesterday's close Rs 316 and zinc inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 195.
