Tin and nickel prices slip on subdued demand

Tin and nickel prices slipped at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists selling amid subdued demand from alloy industries.

While, select copper and brass utensils scrap gained on good demand from consuming industries.

Tin prices slipped by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,400 from Thursday's close at Rs 1,410 and nickel prices moved down by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 815 as against Rs 820 yesterday.

However, copper cable scrap, copper wire bar and brass utensils scrap inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 367, Rs 395 and Rs 274, respectively.
