Tin, brass utensil scrap rebounds on renewed demand

Tin and brass utensils scrap rebounded at the non-ferrous metals market here today on stockists' buying amidst renewed demand from alloy industries.

While, nickel, zinc, brass sheet cuttings and copper eased owing to subdued demand from industrial users.

Tin regained by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,430 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,420 and brass utensils scrap edged up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 337 as against Rs 335.

However, nickel moved down by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 915 as compared Rs 920 yesterday.

Zinc, copper cable scrap, copper armiture, copper utensils, copper billets and brass sheet cuttings softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 239, Rs 454, Rs 440, Rs 415, Rs 482, Rs 349 and Rs 239 respectively.
