Tin, copper recover on renewed demand

Tin and copper prices recovered at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockists' buying amid renewed demand from industrial users.

While, brass prices declined further owing to reduced offtake from alloy industries.

Tin rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,370 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 1,365.

Copper cables scrap, copper sheet cutting, and copper wire bar gained by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 392, Rs 385 and Rs 420 as against Rs 390, Rs 383 and Rs 418.

Copper utensils scrap and copper sheet cutting edged up by a Re per kg to Rs 346 and Rs 367, respectively.
 

However, brass sheet cutting dropped by Rs 12 per kg to Rs 298 from Rs 310.

Brass utensil scrap fell by Rs 7 per kg to Rs 283 as compared to Rs 290.
