Tin prices declined in a otherwise listless non-ferrous metal market here today due to subdued demand from alloy industries.

Aluminium, copper armature and zinc gained on better offtake from consumer industries.

The industrial metals firmed up at LME, but in low volumes, with traders reluctant to take positions ahead of a key labour report from the US and a key leadership meeting in China.

Tin fell by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,585 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,590.

However, aluminium ingots moved-up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 153 as against Rs 151 previously.

Copper armature, aluminium utensils scrap and zinc inched-up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 481, Rs 124 and Rs 160, respectively.
