Tin prices dropped in an otherwise listless non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists selling amid lower demand from industrial users.

Elsewhere, select copper and lead slipped on lower offtake from consumer industries, while, aluminium ingots edged up owing to mild demand.

Overseas, base metals were choppy in a thin, early Asian trade on renewed worries of slower economic growth in China and sliding crude oil.

Tin fell by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,070 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,080.

Copper armature, copper utensils scrap, copper sheet cutting and lead softened by Rs 359, Rs 341, Rs 357 and Rs 123, respectively.

However, aluminium ingots moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 130 from overnight level of Rs 128.
