Tin drops on subdued demand

Tin prices dropped in an otherwise mute non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists selling amidst subdued demand from alloy industries.

Tin fell by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,585 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,595.

Brass utensils scrap and lead softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 350 and Rs 145, respectively.
