Tin eases on lower demand

Tin, brass utensils scrap and copper cables prices eased further at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists' selling amid lower demand from alloy industries.

While, select copper, brass sheet cutting, zinc and lead prices gained owing to sustained offtake from consuming industries.

Tin fell by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,375 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,385.

Brass utensils scrap moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 283 from Rs 285.

Copper cables scrap softened by a Re per kg to Rs 402.

However, zinc rose by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 208 against Rs 204 previously.
 

Copper armature and lead moved up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 381 and Rs 151 from Rs 379 and Rs 149, respectively.

Copper utensils scrap, copper billets and brass sheet cutting inched up a Re per kg each to Rs 358, Rs 430 and Rs 303, respectively.

Copper scrap heavy moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 395 from Rs 397.

Copper armature, copper sheet cutting, brass utensils scrap, brass sheet cutting and zinc softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 383, Rs 376, Rs 284, Rs 304 and Rs 204, respectively.
