Tin, nickel and zinc gain on good demand

Tin, nickel and zinc gained further at the non-ferrous metal market here today following stockist buying amid good demand from alloy industries.

While, copper sheet cuttings and aluminium utensils eased owing to sluggish demand from consuming industries.

Tin and nickel rose by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 1,475 and Rs 940 from Monday's closing level of Rs 1,470 and Rs 935.

Zinc edged up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 256 as against Rs 254.

However, aluminium utensils edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 123 as compared Rs 125 and copper sheet cuttings softened by a Re per kg to Rs 439.
