Press Trust of India Mumbai
Tin and Nickel prices dipped in an otherwise non-ferrous metal market here today on sustained stockist selling amidst weak demand from alloy industries.

Elsewhere, select copper, brass, aluminium, zinc and lead prices edged down on lower offtake from consumer industries.

The industrial metals trading steady at LME, from near two-month lows hit the session before, but was on track to log its biggest monthly loss in seven due to weaker growth in top metals consumer China.

Tin and nickel declined by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 1,525 and Rs 988 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 1,530 and Rs 993.

Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar, brass sheet cutting, aluminium ingots, zinc and lead all softened by Re 1 per kg each Rs 512, Rs 540, Rs 363, Rs 147, Rs 173 and Rs 138, respectively.
