Tin, nickel recover on fresh demand

Tin and nickel recovered at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists buying amidst fresh demand from alloy industries.

Whereas, copper, aluminium utensils and zinc also gained owing to good demand from industrial users.

Tin prices rose by Rs 25 per kg to Rs 1,590 from Wednesday's close Rs 1,565 and nickel increased by Rs 15 per kg to Rs 800 as against Rs 785 yesterday.

Aluminium utensils regained by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 127 from yesterday's close Rs 117.

Copper sheet cuttings moved up by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 360 as compared Rs 355 yesterday.
 

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and copper wire bar went up by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 383, Rs 373, Rs 363 and Rs 411 as against Rs 380, Rs 370, Rs 360 and Rs 408 previously.

Copper utensils and zinc edged up by Rs 2 per kg each Rs 338 and Rs 218 from Rs 336 and Rs 216.
