Tin and copper utensil scrap prices dropped in an otherwise lacklustre trade at non-ferrous metal market here due to sustained selling by stockists amid reduced demand from alloy industries.

While, zinc rebounded on renewed demand from consumer industries.

On the global front, industrial metal copper slipped in early trade on increased prospects of a US rate hike in December, which boosted the dollar and made commodities more expensive for holders of other currencies.

Tin fell by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,190 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,200.

Copper utensils scrap eased by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 368 as against Rs 370.

However, zinc moved up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 153 as compared to Rs 151.
