Tin recovers on fresh demand

Tin prices recovered at the non-ferrous metals market today on stockists buying amid good demand from alloy industries.

Elsewhere, select copper and brass prices rose further due to sustained offtake from industrial users.

While, nickel slipped owing to subdued offtake from alloy industries.

Tin climbed by Rs 8 per kg to Rs 1,318 from last Saturday's level of Rs 1,310.

Copper armature and brass utensils scrap moved up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 360 and Rs 267 from Rs 358 and Rs 265, respectively.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper wire bar edge-up by a Re per kg each to Rs 370, Rs 365 and Rs 398.
