Tin slips in listless trade

Select copper, brass and zinc edged up owing to stray demand from consumer industries.

The industrial metal dropped on investors selling at the LME amid renewed concerns of US economic woes and euro zone concerns.

Tin slid Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,330 from overnight close of Rs 1,335.

However, copper scrap heavy, brass utensils scrap, brass sheet cuttings and zinc inched up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 475, Rs 317, Rs 327 and Rs 136, respectively.
