Tin slips on subdued demand

Prices of tin, lead, aluminium, brass and select copper slipped at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists' selling amid subdued demand from industrial users.

While select copper rose further following sustained demand from consuming industries.

Tin fell by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,370 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,375.

Brass utensils scrap and brass sheet cutting declined by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 305 and Rs 317 as against Rs 308 and Rs 320, previously.

Aluminium ingots moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 149 from Rs 151.

Copper cables scrap, copper billets, aluminium utensils scrap and lead softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 433, Rs 461, Rs 122 and Rs 154, respectively.
 

However, copper utensils scrap and copper sheet cutting rose by Rs 6 per kg each to Rs 388 and Rs 408 as compared to Rs 383 and Rs 402, respectively.

Copper armature climbed by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 412 from Rs 408 and copper scrap heavy edged up by a Re per kg to Rs 425.
