Tin prices spurted at the non-ferrous metal market here today on hectic stockist buying amidst heavy demand from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, nickel, copper, brass, aluminium and zinc surged on good offtake from industrial users.
Tin shot-up by Rs 20 per kg to Rs 1,500 from last weekend's closing level of Rs 1,480.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper wire bar and zinc prices advanced by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 523, Rs 515, Rs 551 and Rs 166 from Rs 520, Rs 512, Rs 548 and Rs 163, respectively.
Brass sheet cutting and aluminium ingots moved up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 354 and Rs 157 from Rs 352 and Rs 155.
Copper utensils scrap and brass utensils scrap inched-up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 465 and Rs 342.
Copper armature softened by Re 1 per kg to Rs 490.
