Tin, zinc and lead slip on subdued demand

Zinc, lead and tin prices slipped at the non-ferrous metals market here today on stockists' selling amid subdued demand from alloy industries.

While, brass utensils scrap recovered marginally owing to renewed demand from industrial users.

Tin slid by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,415 from Tuesday's close at Rs 1,420.

Zinc prices edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 240 as against Rs 242 yesterday and lead softened by a Re per kg to Rs 162.

However, brass utensils scrap edged up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 302 as compared to yesterday's close at Rs 300.
