Women and Child Development (WCD) Minister Krishna Tirath will lead a ministerial delegation to Trinidad and Tobago and El Salvador from May 29 to 31.
Tirath will meet the top leadership of Trinidad and Tobago to discuss humanitarian ties between the two nations, followed by a joint meeting with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Planning and Sustainable Development, Industry and Housing and Environment to discuss the common challenges facing the two countries, the Ministry said in a statement.
In El Salvador, Tirath will visit and study the 'Women City' project - Ciudad Mujer project- a unique initiative led by that country's Ministry of Social Inclusion and supported by the Inter-American Development Bank.

The project seeks to improve the living conditions of Salvadoran women through an integrated focus and promotion of women's rights.
Tirath will be accompanied by National Mission for Empowerment of Women officials K Ratna Prabha and Rashmi Singh along with Senior Economic Advisor Padmaja Mehta.
