A Trinamool Congress (TMC)
leader of Howrah district was expelled from the party today for indulging in anti-party activities.
The president of Howrah district unit of TMC and state minister Arup Roy said Sheikh Mohammed Ibrahim Gora was expelled as there were complaints of anti=party activities against him for a long time.

Gora was earlier removed from the presidentship of Jagatballavpur panchayat samity.
There were allegations in the party against him in connection with the assault of the present president of the panchayat samity Hafizul Islam yesterday.
