TMC issues attachment warrants against private mobile company

The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has issued attachment warrants against a private mobile operator for pending tower dues to the tune of Rs 22 crore.

The Bombay High Court had directed the company to forthwith pay the Rs 22 crore pending property tax on its mobile towers in the city which the company did not do hence these warrants were issued, said a release issued by the TMC today.

The company has installed around 80 mobile towers on the buildings and grounds, added the release.
