"I am out of station in north Bengal for election campaign. Once I get back, I have to check whether I have received the notice and then I will reply," Ahmed said.
In the sting video done by web portal Narada News, five TMC members from the Lok Sabha - Saugata Roy, Sultan Ahmad, Suvendu Adhikari, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar and Prasoon Banerjee, and Mukul Roy from the Rajya Sabha - were shown allegedly accepting money from people representing a fictitious firm.
Calls to Adhikari, Ghosh Dastidar and Banerjee went unanswered.
