West Bengal Left Front chairman Biman Bose today accused the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government of being "inhuman" and said it has failed to provide relief to the flood victims.
He also accused TMC of playing petty politics over distribution of relief materials.
"Earlier whenever there have been floods or any natural calamity, the opposition was never stopped from providing relief materials. But now the opposition has been asked not to provide relief materials and only the state government will do so," Bose said.

"Moreover, the government relief materials are given from TMC party offices as if that party is paying for it. It is such an inhuman government," said Bose.
He also questioned the timing and the outcome of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's London visit.
"Why did she go for the London visit at a time when the entire state was reeling under the threat of floods? What is the outcome of the visit? Did any industry come to Bengal?
"The answer is no. She had gone there to spend a holiday," he alleged.
