A day-after a BJP team visited Birbhum, a ruling TMC team led by party leader Mukul Roy today took stock of the situation after one BJP supporter was killed in a clash.
Roy visited Kanur village where the clash took place between TMC and BJP supporters in which one Rahim Seikh , a BJP supporter was killed.
Apart from Roy, MPs Sultan Ahmed and Abhisek Banerjee were also in the team who also visited the house of a TMC supporter injured in the clash on June seven.
"What happened in this village was very unfortunate. But it was purely a clash over some trivial village matter and in no way a political issue. But BJP is trying to get political mileage by adding political colour to it", Roy alleged.
