: In a move to ensure the safety and health of children of migrant labourer families working in the state, Tamil Nadu government today announced that mobile anganwadis would be set up in five districts.
In the first phase, two vehicles would be bought for each of the five districts -- Chennai, Kanchipuram, Coimbatore, Thiruppur and Tiruvallur -- to function as mobile anganwadis, social Welfare Minister B Valarmathi informed the Assembly
This phase would ensure mobile anganwadis for children belonging to migrant labourer families at a cost of 40.85 lakh, she added.
