Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhoni today held a meeting here with top officials of eight southern districts and discussed arrangements for the Assembly elections due in the next few months.
Besides the eight district collectors, top police officials of the districts attended the meeting held at the District Collectorate here, officials said.
Collectors and senior police officers of Madurai, Sivaganga, Ramanathapuram, Tuticorin, Virudhunagar, Theni, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari districts attended the meeting.
