:Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today greeted Governor K Rosaiah on the occasion of the new year.
"I convey my best wishes and greetings to you, your wife and all the members of your family for a very happy New Year 2014", Jayalalithaa said in her letter sent to Rosaiah.
As part of seeking the blessings of the Lord on the occasion of new year, people thronged several temples and shrines across Tamil Nadu.
