TN CM inaugurates Urban Administrative Office campus

: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami Thursday unveiled new buildings that will house municipal administration and panchayat offices here, constructed at a cost of Rs 73.8 crore.

Palaniswami formally inaugurated the campus of the urban administrative office that would house the Commissionerates of Municipal Administration and Town Panchayat offices, a press release said.

Noting that the existing buildings lacked adequate space, the release said it has been decided to set up the 11 storeyed Urban Administrative Campus, spread across 11,000 square metres at Santhome, that would house the offices

Each floor is spread across 1,015 square feet and has centralised air-conditioning, the release said.
