Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami today left for Delhi, where he is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow.
Palaniswami's visit comes days after his predecessor and leader of the ruling AIADMK's Puratchi Thalaivi Amma faction, O Panneerselvam, had called on Modi in the national capital last week.
The proposed merger talks between the factions led by the two leaders are yet to take off.
Palaniswami is expected to take up issues concerning Tamil Nadu including the drought situation with Modi tomorrow.
