Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah today expressed shock at the death of 24 students, who were washed away in the Beas river in Himachal Pradesh.
"I am deeply shocked and grieved to hear the death of 24 students, who were washed away by floods in Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh..", Rosaiah said in a release.
"The clutches of fate has cut short the lives of the young budding engineers. I pray God to rest their soul in peace." he said.
"May God give strength to their parents and families to bear the loss of the beloved ones", he said.
