Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today said her Tamil Nadu counterpart Banwarilal Purohit had accepted her invite to address officers here on 'regional challenges in security, environment and skills required for enhanced employment generation.'
She tweeted this after calling on Purhoit at Chennai today en route to the union territory from Tirupati.
Bedi tweeted that she had invited Purohit to Puducherry to address officers on "regional challenges in security, environment and required skills for enhanced employment generation" and that he had accepted it.
Bedi assumed office as Puducherry Lt Governor on May 29 2106 and will complete two years on Tuesday.
She had been implementing the Swachch Bharath Mission and evinced interest in sprucing up many water bodies, including Velrampet lake and the one in nearby Krimambakkam to develop them as tourist spots.
