Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao today greeted President-elect Ram Nath Kovind, saying his "wealth of experience" will bring laurels to the nation.
"Your legal acumen, wealth of experience as a governor and Parliamentarian will further help in bringing more laurels to the nation," Rao said in his greeting message.
A Raj Bhavan release said the Governor greeted Kovind saying he was privileged to extend his heartiest congratulations and best wishes on him being elected as the President of India.
"I wish you all success in your distinguished service to the people," the Governor told Kovind.
