TN Guv, Jaya, DMK chief greet people on Onam

Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah, Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and DMK President Karunanidhi today greeted Malayalam speaking people on the eve of Onam tomorrow.

"On the happy occasion of Onam, I extend my heartiest greetings and best wishes to all Malaylees living in Tamil Nadu and other parts of our country," Rosaiah said.

"Let us on this Harvest festival resolve to unite to promote progress and peace and bring about prosperity in all fields," he said.

Jayalalithaa, conveying her hearty greetings said,"let love and peace prevail in every home, let joy and wealth multiply, I convey my hearty greetings to all Malayalam speaking people."
 

Karunanidhi said Onam underscored nurturing of humaneness and all good values. Stating that Malayalam speaking people were so closely knit with Tamil, he extened his hearty greetings.
