TN Guv presents memento to Praggnanandhaa

Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit today presented a memento to Chennai-based R Praggnanandhaa who recently became the world's second youngest chess Grandmaster.

Praggnanandhaa became the country's youngest and the world's second youngest GM at the age of 12 years,10 months and 13 days while playing in the Grendine Open in Italy.

The Chennai-based boy called on Purohit at the Raj Bhavan along with members of his family.

The governor presented him a memento as part of honouring his feat, a Raj Bhavan release said.

Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, DMK working president M K Stalin and Makkal Needhi Maiam founder-actor Kamal Haasan have congratulated the young prodigy on his achievement.
