Ahead of the Global Investors Meet in Chennai in September this year, the Tamil Nadu government in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) today kicked off an investment road show here to win over investors from neighbouring Kerala.

Through this, the government seeks to establish a collaborative agenda with industries and investors.

Vijay Pingale, Joint Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Industries Department, reached out to the Kerala government to jointly develop strategies, especially for the MSME sector, in the run-up to the GIM to be held on September 9-10 this year.

The next road show is scheduled to be held in Jaipur on July 10.

Deepak L Aswani, co-Chairman, FICCI Kerala State Council, said, "We are positive that the people in Kerala would evaluate the strengths of the state and interact with the current investors in Tamil Nadu and government officials."

K Bhavadasan, Managing Director, K P Namboodiri's Group, proposed a road map for sustainable power infrastructure spanning across the two states.
