Chief Minister J Jayalalaithaa and DMK President M Karunanidhi were among a host of leaders who extended their Easter greetings today.
In her greetings, Jayalalithaa noted that Christians all over the world celebrated the resurrection of Lord Jesus as Easter and urged one and all to live by his ideals.
Lord Jesus preached all-round love and peace and one should live by these principles and exhibit love and brotherhood, she said in a statement.

Karunanidhi recalled the various welfare measures, including reservation, implemented for the Christians during different DMK governments.
DMDK founder and Leader of the Opposition in the assembly Vijayakant, TNCC President B S Gnanadesikan and MDMK leader Vaiko also extended their greetings on the eve of Easter, being celebrated tomorrow.
