Tamil Nadu Minister O Paneerselvam today came to the rescue of an old man and another person who were injured in an accident here.
The minister was proceeding to open the sluice gates of the Mettur dam when he saw a motorcycle rider colliding with an old man. Both were injured.
The old man sustained a fracture in the leg, police said.
The minister stopped his car and made arrangements to rush the injured to hospital in his Personal Assistant's car which was following behind.
