Tamil Nadu Minister for Forests C.Srinivasan inaugurated the Kodaikanal Summer Festival here today.
The festival is organised annually by the Tourism department.
The festival would be held till June 6 when cultural shows and dog show would be held, District Collector,A.M.Nagendran, who presided over the function, said.
More than three lakh flower plants have been planted for the show, according to officials.
