Tamil Nadu government today allocated a sum of Rs 20 crore towards upgradation of operation theatres in around 20 state-run hospitals.
The funds approved by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa will be used to upgrade operation theatres at Government hospitals in Chennai, Madurai, Thanjavur, Chengalpattu, Tirunelveli and Sankarankoil, among others, an official release said.
