Unlike his wrestling idol Dara Singh, Mahabali Shera today said he would love to focus on wrestling and does not have any interest in films.

"The Great Khali did a movie and Dara Singh did many Bollywood films, but I want to stay focused in wrestling. My first goal is to become a good wrestler and an athlete. "I always had the burning desire to do something for the country like Dara Singh did. He made India proud by his achievements in the sport and life," he said.

Shera said the live event will not only popularise wrestling in India, but also give opportunities to talented wrestlers to make a name in the sport.

"The live wrestling event will not only popularise and increase the viewership in India, but also give opportunity to find out extraordinary talent - like The Great Khali was discovered years back," he said.
