TNAU enters into MoU with Golf Club and IGIN

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has entered into a MoU with Coimbatore Golf Club, in the field of "Landscape Gardening" for PG students' research on "Golf Sports Turf research".

Similarly the university also entered into an MoU with Indian Green Infrastructure Network (IGIN), Bengaluru in the field of "Vertical Gardening research" for a period of three years, a varsity release said today.

These MoUs were signed yesterday, as an initiative for an organised research effort through PG Students Research in the arena of Sports Turf and Vertical Gardening, which are the upcoming fields in the modern day gardening, it said.
 

R.Gopinath, Vice president, Coimbatore Golf Club and Hemakumar, Founder- Chairman, IGIN signed the MoUs with Registrar, TNAU on behalf of the Department of Floriculture and Landscaping, Horticultural College and Research Institute.
