Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) today released 7.80 lakh pages of digitised document and implemented the Institutional repository of TNAU linked with Krishikosh.
By this, the University customised its library document resources Online Public Access Catalogue through KOHA.
Releasing the DVD and Hard copies at the inaugural function of a National Workshop, TNAU vice-chancellor, K Ramasamy said the repository developed through digital capturing was for preserving and providing easy access to the intellectual output of all agriculture research systems in India.
The rare books on agriculture and allied fields now available with TNAU library will be preserved both digitally and as hard copies for the best use of students and researchers, Ramasamy said.
