TNAU students get international fellowships

Three students of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) have received international scholarships to pursue higher studies.

K Nivetha, a B.Tech (Bioinformatics) student has secured the prestigious USPC-MIEM scholarship to pursue Master's programme in Biomedical Engineering in Paris Descartes University, France. She will get 10,000 Euros per academic year.

A. Ragavendran, a B.Tech (Biotechnology) student has secured admission with fellowship in Kyung Hee University, South Korea, for pursuing MS in Biotechnology and will receive a fellowship of 450 USD per month and the Korea university will bear other expenses, a TNAU release said here.

Godwin, a B.Tech (Biotechnology) student has been selected for M. Sc. Programme in Agriculture and Biotechnology for Sustainable Dry land Development at Ben-Gurion University of Negev, Israel.
 

He will receive monthly scholarship of 2,457 NIS (New Israeli Shekalim), (roughly equivalent to US$685) and the other expenses like cost of accommodation, health insurance and tuition fees will be borne by the Israel school.
