A automatic medicine-dispensing machine has been installed at an 'mohalla clinic' in Todapur area in Delhi.
The machine, installed yesterday, uses sensor technology to dispense medicines, and is based on a doctor's prescription.
"An automatic medicine-vending machine has been installed at one of our mohalla clinics. It will have different types of medicines, both tablets and syrups," an official said.

The machine will dispense the medicine only when a doctor prescribes them on a connected tablet, the official said.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today retweeted a picture of the machine.
According to sources, such machines could be installed in few other mohalla clinics also.
