Authorities say a 23-month-old girl managed to stay afloat in an air pocket until rescue crews found her under a boat that overturned on the Indian River in central Florida.
The Cocoa Police Department said in a news release authorities received multiple 911 calls on Friday night following a boat crash. Four officers jumped in the water and started searching for victims.
A civilian in a nearby boat also helped search the water for victims.

The child was treated by paramedics, who took her to the hospital.
She was listed in good condition.
