Representatives of the Furfura Darbar Sharif today met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and sought development projects in the area.
"We apprised her of the problems of minorities in our area. We want development plans related to water, hospital and staying arrangements for pilgrims," Furfura Sharif's leader Toha Siddiqui said after the meeting at Nabanna, the state secretariat.
He said the Chief Minister has assured them of meeting their demands.
