The state election office in Assam has provided toll free phone number 1950 in view of the coming Lok Sabha polls on April 7, 12 and 24 in the state.
People can use this number regarding any poll-related information and grievances, said a release from the Chief Electoral Officer here today.
Election Commision of India today issued notification for the first phase of Lok Sabha polls for five Parliamentary constituencies of Tezpur, Kaliabor, Jorhat, Dibrugarh and Lakhimpur.
The last date for filing nomination for the election is March 21, while scrutiny is scheduled for March 22 and the last date for withdrawal of candidature is March 24.
