Toll plaza vandalised in Madhya Pradesh

A group of people vandalised a toll plaza situated on the Indore-Ahmedabad National Highway near here and attacked its staffers Friday, police said.

The people, numbering 7 to 8 and armed with lathis, attacked the toll plaza, located 40km from the Indore district headquarters, and also beat up its staffers, said Betma police inspector Yashpal Singh Sisodia.

"Acting on a complaint by toll plaza manager Veer Babu, we were have booked the unidentified accused and efforts were on to arrest them," he said.

The reason for the violence is yet to be ascertained, Sisodia added.
